This isn’t really a prayer request, it’s a little bit of a praise report, I guess.
I just wanted to say thank you so much for Wednesday’s Chapel service. I left that service feeling like- ‘I feel SO special’.
Although I’ve been attending Society for roughly 7 years, and got baptized there, I still feel ‘new’ to church. I didn’t grow up with it, and I struggle to raise my hands up in worship. I struggle to pray out loud in front of people. And when people pray out loud for me…. I feel unworthy. I prefer to shrink up into a ball, closing my eyes and making myself as small and unnoticed as I could possibly be, for fear of risking any attention being drawn to me.
I have been caught in a loop for a few years of, ‘I really messed up in my life, and did a lot of real bad stuff, and while I can kinda get behind the idea that God forgives me and loves me because He is all-powerful and full of love and forgiveness…. it’s still been hard to love and forgive myself.
But I am working on it in Christian fellowship, and getting better…
Anyway, long story short- this past Wednesday I just felt special. There was a little smidge of, ‘I don’t deserve these prayers’ but it was barely even noticeable.
I really enjoyed the oil on my forehead with, ‘Holy Spirit come’ and then the prayer team moving around, and being touched and prayed for specifically. I really felt SO special and it meant a lot to me.
I felt the power of the Holy Spirit, and the power of prayer, and I was enveloped in love and something really beautiful that I truly appreciate.

We are grateful for your prayers for our family over the past year and a half as my mother in law (Isaiah’s mom) Linda was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) at 83 years old. God provided great doctors and innovative treatment, and even relocation to the place where she grew up and can see the ocean and be surrounded by dear friends. We are asking for prayers of peace and comfort now, as the brief, fragile window of remission has closed and she will be entering hospice care to ease her journey home to Jesus. She is ready, excited even, to see the glory that awaits. It is all of us here on earth, with our finite minds, that are joined in sadness. Thank you for taking the time to pray for Linda in this final transition, for Isaiah, myself and Mason, and also Isaiah’s siblings and their children, Peter, Jessica, Melvin Sr., Valentino, Melvin Jr. and Amber. Blessings to all, Julia Curry.
Pray for my healing, please. I was just diagnosed with a sickness that can turn into something life-threatening. I’m putting all of my faith in the Lord, praying for my victory.
I have a special prayer request regarding my grandparents Marilyn & Allyn. They both just turned 90 and I live nearby them to take care of them. They live in a house that’s too big for them where it has a lot of steep stairs that I worry they might fall down by accident. I asked that you and your prayer team can pray my grandparents move into a retirement home where I know they will be safe.
Thank you god bless.
I’ve never felt so special…
