The Gift of Presence: God’s Presence in our Poverty

Advent is a time of waiting, anticipation, and hope. It’s the space between the two comings of Jesus. One of these we celebrate at Christmas, and one as we await Jesus’ imminent return to make all things new.

The focus of this year’s Advent is “the gift of presence.” Our hope is to encourage people to be present, face to face, side by side with one another, as much as possible, through this time as we celebrate the gift of presence we have in Jesus our Emmanuel.

This week we are going to be looking at finding God’s presence in our poverty.
