Hey Happy New Year!
I love the newness that January brings. This is usually when people set resolutions, goals and dream a little for their year. Sunday I shared a scripture verse that has inspired my heart as I look upon 2019 and contemplate this time of newness and what God might be speaking to me.
Isaiah 43:19 says “Behold I am doing a new thing. Now it springs forth do you not perceive it. I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Whether you enjoy setting resolutions, goals and dreaming big dreams, or not, I personally believe there is something spiritual in taking the time to reflect on what was and hope for what could be.
God is wanting to do a new thing in each of our lives. As we walk out this journey of faith, lets have some courage to perceive it. Set some time to think upon 2018, and prayerfully consider how you can grow in your faith in 2019.
Tim mentioned in this first week of our new sermon series “Focused” some practical resources for you begin to work on your inner life. We listed those resources for you, with some additional extras and hope you take an active role in your faith development.
We are so excited to be doing life with you! We see God unfolding newness within our church and we can’t help but be inspired. Whether you are in a place to take BIG steps of faith or little leaps, we are cheering you on and praying with you along the way.
