PRESENT + PAST + FUTURE
On Sunday, February 1st we kick off our new teaching series called “Present + Past + Future” its all about learning to be present, celebrate the past and hope for the future. This series will be taught from the book of Philemon. This letter entitled Philemon is one written by the Apostle Paul to his acquaintance Philemon about the present situation of his friend Onesimus and how they can live beyond their past and live into a new hope for the future. Here is what is happening during this short teaching series at Society Church:
+ Be Present- Sunday, February 1st: We will be having an extended time of worship together along with Communion as we learn to train our hearts to be present with God and others. We will be starting our Winter/Spring Community Group sign ups as well!
+ Celebrate the Past- Sunday, February 8th: Our 2 Year Anniversary! We will have an extended time of worship and explore the importance of learning to celebrate and live beyond our past, and how we can become better not bitter. We will continue Community Group sign ups as well!
+ Hope for the Future- Sunday, February 15th: Vision Sunday! We will spend some time looking forward together as we hear about the 2015 Society Church Vision and learn how to live into a new hope for the future. This will be the last week for Community Group sign ups!
