Have you ever had a conversation with someone you didn’t recognize who they were until after the conversation?
Getting Started:
- Read Luke 24:13-34.
- Why might Jesus’s identity have been revealed only after sharing a meal with the two who were on their way to Emmaus?
Application Questions:
- When was the last time that you experienced the presence of God?
- Does it often take you a while to notice that God was there or do you usually notice pretty quickly?
- Read Luke 9:24.
- How might a statement like that affect how we expect to experience the presence of God?
