On August 3rd 2014, we will be launching a new teaching series called, “Art & Soul: Making our lives our greatest works of art.”
We will be exploring the significance of being made in the image of a Creator God, and that His creative spark is within us still creating and innovating both within us and through us. As we follow Jesus he creates within us new life, faith, hope and love that is intended to spread through us affecting humanity as his “creational people”.
“So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” – Genesis 1:27, NLT
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” – Ephesians 2:10, NLT
The different topics we will be looking at include:
- We are God’s Masterpiece- Created to live a beautiful life. Our lives are our greatest works of art.
- Created to Create- We are to be a ‘creational’ people. Learning to increase our creational capacity.
- Embracing both Imagination & Perspiration- Living in the tension of dreaming & doing.
- Overcoming the Resistance and Creational Blocs- Embracing perseverance, avoiding pitfalls and moving forward.
- Defining your Canvas- Embracing personal limits and celebrating strengths.
- Join us at Beatnik Studios Re-Grand Opening on August 2nd between 6-midnight- https://www.facebook.com/events/317599211730762/
- Every Sunday we will be gathering at 10:30am at Beatnik Studios (723 S Street, Sac 95811) for a time of inspiring music, authentic community and teaching from the scriptures.

Hi Tim,
Just came back to your church last Sunday. Loved it! Wanted to get involved in women’s bible study. Vanessa told me about meeting at a coffee house but I couldn’t make it last wed bc my daughter’s dad showed up late. Really want to do that. Do people bring their kids and if not, I may be sometimes late, is that gonna work? Also, will be missing this Sunday and next due to work but anytime I don’t get called in, I will be present.:) thanks
