This week at Society, we are starting a new series called All Things New where we will go through the Gospel of Mark and look at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and what that means for our lives.

What is the worst thing you’ve eaten out of politeness?

Getting Started:

1. Read Mark 7:1-13.
2. What was Jesus calling the Pharisees hypocrites for?
3. Read Mark 7:14-23.
4. What is the significance of Jesus’s distinction between what enters into the stomach and what comes out of the heart?

Application Questions:.

1. Have there been any moments where you’ve experienced a change of heart?
2. Read Luke 6:37-38.
3. Are there any places where you could be more merciful? What are they?
