This year the Christmas Season looks a little different, but are doing something special this year for you to participate in Advent with us from your home. This year our Advent focus will be centered around how Jesus came to be the Light of the World! Our encouragement would be that collectively we will take some time from November 29th to December 25th to sit with this Advent calendar and spend intentional time with Jesus.

We are hosting an Advent Kit Pick Up at the church (2711 B St.) on November 28th from 10 am – 12 pm

You might be wondering: What is Advent? Each year as a church community, each week we observe this time of expectant waiting for our Savior’s Birth. This time leading up to Christmas is meant to prepare our hearts and minds for Him. So each week we have a scripture that we center on and we light a candle, symbolizing the Jesus as the light of the world! With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, let this bring some peace, calm, presence and stillness throughout your days. Include your kids, spouse, roommates or friends!

We have curated and crafted FREE Advent Kits for you (and your family) to engage with for each week of Advent! These Advent Kits are for everyone, whatever season of life you find yourself in! From advent candles to a weekly devotional and reflection to a kids craft, we’ve got everything you will need to take you through this Advent season!

So swing by the church on November 28th from 10 -12pm to grab your Advent Kit!!

(if you can’t make it to Saturday’s Pick Up, come on by on Tuesday, Dec. 1st from 12pm – 2pm to the church office to grab a kit!)
