Why do you serve in ministry at Society Church?
I have a passion to see the church re-engage the creative class within the urban city center of Sacramento. My heart is to see people’s souls come alive as they discover a life giving relationship with God. I want to see human lives fully lived and I believe that only happens by God’s grace and presence as He takes up residence within our hearts.
What kind of experience do you have in your area of service at Society Church?
I graduated from EPIC Bible College in 2005 with a BA in Ministerial Arts & Biblical Studies. I have served in a variety of work, church and non-profit leadership roles including: Associate Pastor, Worship & Creative Arts Pastor, Youth Pastor, Director of youth programs, Internship Co-Director, Administrative Assistant, youth intern, coffee shop manager, and barista. I have also been a part of 2 church plants and one church re-plant.
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Hanging out with my wife and kiddos. Taking pictures, hiking, camping, snowboarding, day adventures to the city, reading and occasionally skateboarding.
What is something you love most about Society Church?
The people, seriously we have an eclectic mix of interesting, creative and fun people a part of our faith community. It never ceases to amaze me the backgrounds, stories and diversity of experiences we share as a faith family. It’s a beautiful thing!
