Lisa: Relevant biblical teaching, moving worship, awesome children’s ministry, and a welcoming and safe atmosphere to explore faith
Steven: I love how real and all-encompassing Society’s stated values are. They aren’t just platitudes. They drive every aspect of what we do and what we care about: awesome worship and teaching, engaging our surrounding community, encouraging generosity, and fostering personal growth.
What’s your favorite after church activity?
Lisa: Lunch with friends, followed by a nap
Steven: My perfect Sunday is: coffee in the morning, great worship and learning at church, reconnecting with some part of my church family over lunch, and going home for a nap.
What’s your favorite place to eat in Sacramento?
Lisa: Lalo’s (homestyle Mexican food)
Steven: Asking me to choose a favorite restaurant in Sacramento is like asking me to choose a favorite child. Not going to happen.
